Out of all the career paths, one career spoke to her, a registered nurse. Ever since she was in middle school she loved watching people around her fall head over heels in love with nursing. She has grown up with few role models who led to her decision to pursue nursing. However, before she decided to choose nursing, she had debated between her heart and mind for many months on whether nursing was right for her or if she would ever have the passion for nursing. The answer was yes, nursing was the right choice for her, because although she knew that nursing is a tough career but she could visually picture herself being in the healthcare field. She started her career by completing her Diploma in Nursing from Assunta College of Nursing in year 2010.
She worked in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Assunta Hospital for almost 8 years before deciding to become a clinical instructor. In her third year working in ICU, she then pursue her post basic in Coronary Care Nursing in 2013 at Kolej Kejururawatan Pulau Pinang. She then continue her nursing career as a cardiac nurse and was promoted to Charge Nurse in ICU. She is also involved in teaching student nurses and staff nurses as well.
Finally, in September 2018 she joined Assunta College of Nursing to become a clinical instructor where she could share her experience and knowledge to the younger generations of nurses and hopes to embark nursing to a greater level as nursing is definitely a promising career.
