She wanted to do something that is challenging, interesting and will make a real difference in peoples’ lives. She is very passionate about the nursing profession and also sees it as a way of contributing positively to the society .Her interest in nursing started when she worked at a maternity specialist clinic in her home town after completing high school.
Her nursing training in KPJ University College from year 2003-2006 prepared her for the care required of a staff nurse. She also had an opportunity to pursue her nursing career as a specialized pediatric nurse. She enrolled herself in post basic pediatric nursing in year 2007 which provided her with hands on experience treating pediatric patients. Although she was only having two years of experience at that time, the knowledge that she obtained helped her to continue her career in overseas. So her journey continued in Saudi Arabia at King Fahad specialist Hospital Dammam from 2009 to 2016. She believes it is essential to broaden her nursing experience and to set new goals for herself otherwise she will remain stagnant and it is important to keep moving forward.
Hence, she enrolled herself in degree in nursing in year 2015 at Lincoln University College to further develop her potential as a nurse and a person. She has always loved nursing, but her interest was more towards teaching. This really inspired her to pursue her career as a Clinical Facilitator at Assunta Hospital. This is helping her to gain more knowledge towards teaching in nursing. Her vision is to give her best to her students to make their futures brighter.
