Ms Goh Seok Choo has about 22 years of nursing experience. She has had experience working in Assunta Hospital in medical and surgical wards as a staff nurse (1995 to 1999) and as an acting sister (1999 to 2001); She also worked as a staff nurse (team leader) in 7 west Orthopedic Ward Hammersmith Hospital NHS TRUST Charing Cross Hospital, Fulham Palace Road, London (2001 to 2003); Nurse Instructor (2003 to 2005) in Puteri Nursing College; Charge Nurse (2005 to 2008) in Assunta hospital.

She holds a degree in Bachelor’s of Health Science (Nursing) (1999) and Graduate Certificate in Orthopedic from Victoria University of Technology Melbourne, Australia (1996). She obtained Advanced Diploma in Teaching Methodology from University of Malaya Medical Centre in 2008.

Currently she is a nursing tutor in Assunta College of Nursing, which includes the following responsibilities: classroom teaching and learning activities;
She also participates in the hospital ongoing activities such as Internal auditing for SIRIM and MSQH.
She believes as an educator the responsibility is to disseminate knowledge, skills and attitudes among student nurses. “It is not how much you do but how much love you put in the doing.” – Mother Theresa
