She graduated with a Diploma in Nursing from Assunta College of Nursing in 2004. During her posting as a student at Maternity Ward, the Ward Sister then became her role model that inspired her to request to work at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology ward upon completing the Nursing Board Exam. After a year of experience in the O&G ward, she obtained her Midwifery Certificate from Penang Midwifery College in 2006. Furthermore, in 2007, she was promoted as a Senior Staff Nurse followed by another promotion as a Charge Nurse in 2009.

She progressed further by obtaining a Bachelor of Nursing (HONs) from Northumbria University, UK, a distance learning programme. Apart from nursing patients, she also had the responsibility to supervise and guide students posted to the ward. This experience gave her the interest to teach and facilitate students to apply theory into practice. Therefore in 2011, she took up the Clinical Instructor position in Community Nursing attached to TTCL College of Nursing.

She enjoys bringing students out to the Klinik Kesihatan to provide nursing care in Child Health Clinic, Antenatal Clinic and Post Natal Care during home visiting. Hence, the students also experience Mobile Charity Clinic held 4 times a month on every Saturday, whereby free treatments and doctor’s consultation is given to the underprivileged community. Moreover she underwent a Short Course in Clinical Teaching to contribute further in students’ nurses learning and practical experiences in clinical area. Besides her work she enjoys gardening and cooking during her free time.
